There is no official come mod apk, and a file titled come apk mod is not published from the official link. Both word orders are the same bad idea. Someone altered the package, or wants you to believe they did, and then offered it as an upgrade. It is not an upgrade this site recognises. The only file we point to is the ordinary Android download.

What mod means here

In plain language, a mod is a changed app. The icon may match. The name may match. The bytes do not, because a stranger edited them or repackaged them. We are not going to describe the edit. Steps, tools and settings for changing a package do not belong in a warning. If the article taught the change, it would no longer be a warning.

You do not need the internal details to make the decision. The decision is to refuse the file. Malware and extra permissions

A modified package is a common place to hide malware. The wrapper looks like a game, which is why people tap it. The extra behaviour can be a stolen login, a stolen code, or software you did not mean to grant. We will not catalogue payloads. The useful point is that you cannot see the extra behaviour in a screenshot of the icon.

Pages that tell you to disable security, turn off Play Protect, or allow every permission "or the mod will not start" are explaining their own risk in the instructions. This guide never needs you to weaken the phone so a stranger's build will run. The official install is already a sideload of an APK, which is reason enough to be strict about the source. Adding a mod on top of that sideload removes the only control you had, which was the official link.

Do not install a mod to "check" it. Do not disable security because a mod page said the file is clean. Do not type an existing password into a build you did not get from the official link. Delete the download.

If you already installed one, remove it before you log into the real app on that phone. Changing the password from a still-infected device is a weak plan. Use a device you trust, and do not reinstall the modified file while you "wait to see". Waiting with the file still present is how it stays.

Accounts get closed

Even when a modified file is not obvious malware, it can break the account. The real service can refuse a client that does not match the official app. People then go looking for another mod that "fixes the ban", which is a second file from the same kind of page. That is a loop, not a repair.
